Today in Weserville the citizens gathered in the town hall for a mandatory seminar on savings account and checking account. We really needed this seminar seeing as we have never had to use a bank before in Weserville and the Mayor wanted us to know what the different accounts are so we don't lose our money to the bank for some reason or another due to fees.

On friday the 18 the citizens of Weserville were gathered in the town hall for a meeting. In this meeting we discussed what the plan was to clean up the town. The twon has suffered two natural disasters in one week. The first one was a tornado which ripped through the town and just as we were done fixing that damage we got flooded by a massive rainstorm. Pete and Joes restaurant was unable to serve food but they did open an indoor pool that has floating tables. So if you come to weserville make sure to visit our newly made community indoor pool.

On Friday the 11th the citizens of Weserville gathered in the town hall to vote on which commercial they would fund with the money from the city. We all saw many different and interesting commercials but in the end only one came out on top. This Tv commercial will be featured in the local news (PCTV) for a period of time, this commercial was made in order to attract people to the town and essentially get them to buy or stuff. This would help the city grow economically and physically.

Today in Weserville the citizens gathered in the town hall to watch a movie about how Nike Shoes made itself the most dominate shoe producer in the world. In their commercials they use the biggest stars in basketball, and the biggest movie stars. The Nike shoe sells for hundreds of dollars and their main store is in New York. Nike started many years ago with the idea of a college guy selling shoes out of the back of a van.
Yesterday in Weserville the citizens were requested to participate in a friendly game. This game was called Budget hero in this game we were supposed to balance an  economy, we did this by applying different taxes, adding funding to different aspects of the budget and by cutting funding to different parts of life. Very few people were able to balance their budget but Mrs. Weser was able to balance her economy out and her budget lasted until 2039. This game taught us that trying to balance a budget is pretty hard and isn't a walk in the park.

Another Issue that is looming on the horizon is the Budget Shutdown. If the budget shutdown actually happens then the economic recovery for the U.S will crash. The first day to watch for a change in the Government is Oct. 1st when a large chunk of President's Obama's health care act takes effect. Also on this day they will apply spending cuts all across the board. Now there is a date known as the "X" Date that exists somewhere in the middle of October, on this day the government will not have enough money to pay off its bills in time if Congress does not raise the federal debt limit. If this happens then there will be a government shutdown.
Recently in the meat world Smithfield Foods one of the largest pork producers which has a factory here in Va. They sold their company for $4.7 billion, they were bought by Shuanghui International which is based out of China. When this sale happened many Americans said they would boycott Smithfield and or go vegan but there are too many people that will continue to buy from them so their sales will not be affected at all.
